Simplify – Reflect – ReFocus

My career is about assisting organizations and families reach their goals.  I work as a participant e.g. consultant, nanny, tutor, mentor, case manager, and project leader. I use an informal Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) approach to improve ADLs, manage stress, reduce challenging behaviors, and develop positive habits. I embrace a cognitive behavioral approach especially when dealing with Executive Function issues (planning and organizing). I believe in structuring a lifestyle that includes cleanliness, exercise, continuous self-improvement, finding joy in play, eating nutritiously, and reflection.
Tutor K12 subjects (arithmetic, algebra, geometry,  reading, composition, history, study habits, and computer skills) for students who are reluctant to learn. Apply community outings, cooking lessons, executive function instruction, tutoring, homework, playing and listening to music, reading and composition, and exercise to building positive relationships with students while developing curiosity and confidence.
I am a veteran of the United States Army with an honorable discharge. I served in the Signal Corp as an electronics technician during the Cold War Era serving at Fort Huachuca and in Berlin, Germany. I am an Eagle Scout.  I remain an active volunteer in the community providing assistance to the homeless and the mentally challenged.
