I began my career at 19, working for a local politician, Jim Rose. Soon, I began teaching kids programming at Mater Dei School’s summer camp., one of the first computer camps in Maryland!
In 1982, I enlisted in the US Army Signal Corps where I learned about electronic repair and computer networking. I married Hilda and in 1984, my first son Joshua was born. When I left the military, I worked as a field engineer for ATAC Corporation and learned about IT sales and even more about small businesses. I was blessed with another son, Joseph.
For the next 30 years, I worked with microbusinesses, computer repair and networking, and a lot of project management . And I also worked as a full-time teacher, consultant, and full-time student.
When I left government service, I started my own IT Development company and later I also began working with children, teens and adults. I started by teaching cooking and over some years, became a program manager.
I am always trying to improve processes and myself. I am an idealist. I believe in looking beyond myself and thinking about how I can benefit my world while being helpful, loving, and compassionate.
